How much compression are you having to use now? G. So I went to the .030 veggie no issues with bulging. Was the other wad a 'poly' type? I run .380-.390 comp with 2F 'E' with no issue using a .060 fiber wad. The 'poly' type bulged my cases also. 50* huh, you must have been melting then. ![]() G. Dialing in a C Sharps 1885 45-70 BPCR - Snocat - 04-21-2018 I'm so ready for nice weather! Nope veggie The 560c Brooks sits down in the case a bit further than your PJ 530 ![]() Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk RE: Dialing in a C Sharps 1885 45-70 BPCR - Lumpy Grits - 04-21-2018 You should buy a .45-90.......... ![]() G. Dialing in a C Sharps 1885 45-70 BPCR - Snocat - 10-16-2019 Hi everyone thought I would fill you in on what happened last spring. The trigger has been to light from the start and could not increase it with the adjustment. Then it started catching halfway and light strikes on the primers. Brian Chilson was shooting next to me and saw I was having troubles and suggested I contact his rifle Smith Joseph Seeley only a few hrs away. Turns out he used to be the head Smith at C Sharps he wrote the milling program for there 1885 rifle . He said when my rifle was made he was back in New York making arrangements to move his shop back here . He did not do the assembly of my rifle at C Sharps. He reworked everything did a great job ! [attachment=1524] Then work started and I never got a chance to shoot it last season. And this spring all my focus has been on a little Cabin on 5 Acer's in North East Tennessee Mountains. Our exit plan from New York in a few years. I think there's a nice range in North Georgia.[emoji846] Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk RE: Dialing in a C Sharps 1885 45-70 BPCR - Don McDowell - 10-16-2019 Good to hear you’re still on top of the grass |
