This will most likely be a Highwall----either a C-Sharps or MVA action
Ill check the camming ability and use it in the setting the "tightness" of the fit.

If I was to build it again I think I would keep the breach and the muzzle the same but shorten the barrel to a 26" for a little better off hand weight. That would take 12 OZ off the weight.

Been tossing around the idea of selling this CPA and replacing it with a C Sharps lowall, single set trigger and a # 2 1/2 contour 26 in. barrel.

Why would you want to sell the CPA Don?

No reason in particular. Just prefer the lowall in a 22.

There's nothing wrong with the way this rifle shoots. Anytime you can take down 9 rams in a 30 mph cross wind, it's not done with a rifle that won't shoot. This rifle consistently shoots very tight groups in the paper matches, and still holds the x count record at Bryan's Creedmoor match.
Just happen to prefer the lowalls, and as far as that goes I would imagine with the trigger job Eron put on this Miroku it would hold it's own against all comers even better than it did before.
Would like to be able to get Kirk to build a 77 English rifle in 22, but so far that suggestion has not been met with anything that would make me think it'll ever happen

My Miroku is a good shooter too. But I think if I was to build a low wal and I almost did for the one I'm working on now I would use the MVA action. I looked at them at the Q last yearand was impressed with them.

This lowall that CSA built for Carol is just a fine work of rifle building. I really like their single set trigger set up. You can get the entire rifle from CSA for little more than just the MVA action.
When we went to Big Timber and picked up butt ugly from his set trigger install, and ordered Carol's rifle, they had a lowall on the rack , that had I not of already had this CPA would of brought home with me in a heartbeat.

Dave, will not shoot 22s at state match. Did your group put us down to squad with for big bore? Enjoyed it last year.
When installed my Crossno liner is too crooked to run a cleaning rod through but man does it shoot good.
