Had a bit of a windfall, so decided what the heck, been doing and really enjoying the 22 match stuff, sooooo... in a nice visit with Mrs. Shuttlesworth, there is a CPA 22 being built in sillouette configuration , with intentions of being shipped west..Big GrinBig Grin

Don,

I think Congratulations are in order for news like that.Big Grin In fact, IIRC that will make 2 new CPA rifles in the last 8-10 months or so. Several guys around here have CPA rifles, and they are very nice rifles to be sure. Enjoy!!

Thanks Steve
Yes that will be a second CPA, winning the first one actually inspired ordering this second one. I even have them putting Baldwin sights on this rimfire.

It'll be a fun rifle me thinks. Also having it drilled for the MVA scope.

RE: Just how long - Steve Anderson - 01-09-2015

Seems like a guy should be passing out cigars or something. Congratulations, I'll be anxious to see it. I know lusting is a sin but geez I'm only a man. Weak man, very weak man...Steve

Big GrinBig Grin Good post Steve. I'm hoping it's here in time for the big dance in Cheyenne. Would be really nice to be able to shoot it in the 22 match at Alliance.

RE: Just how long - Kurt - 01-09-2015

Don.

The CPA .22 is a fine shooter. What barrel did you order with it?
Mine seems not to be to particular what ammo it shoots. There is not to much difference between the mid to high end from what I have shot so far.
I'm having them make me another one so I don't have to switch the barrels so they wot loosen up.
hey said sent me the barrel and breach block and they will give me credit for it.

Kurt

RE: Just how long - J.B. - 01-09-2015

Have to be happy with that offer Kurt. Well done.

RE: Just how long - Don McDowell - 01-09-2015

Kurt that's great service from them doing that breechblock and barrel for you. Just one more reason why those folks deserve more attention.
This rifle will have a #2 tapered Douglas barrel. Want to hold the weight at about 9 lbs so it handles well off hand, as well as sleep in the sticks.[/b]
