.22 Aguila - Kurt - 05-27-2015

We just got a new Dunham Sports store in the neighboring town and I walked past the ammo shelves and they had some of the Mexican Aguila that is marked Eley prime. This is 40 gr stuff in three different types. I picked up two boxes of each to try. .22 super Extra, .22 target, and rifle match. Cant read the specks on the box with a big bare code price sticker over it. Have any of you shot this yet?

Kurt

I've been shooting the rifle match for years. Its the stuff I was shooting at Alliance when I got 3rd in the iron sights. (remember our confusion on the windage adjust on the ram...) And it's also what I used last year in the Stevens at the Wyoming state match. It's good stuff in the rifles that like it. Smells funny but shoots pretty decent.

I will shoot some tomorrow and I will get a brick or two if it shoots better then the Norma Match.

Can't say if it will shoot with the Norma Match, but I would say it's right on par with the TAC.
