Chinese Landed in Beckley

That is a Chinese copy of the BRNO #2 .22 rifle which was the forerunner of the CZ452. They are generally well made and often quite accurate rifles, especially for the money. I bought one new about 20 years ago that is a bit upgraded from yours for all of $80. The odd rear mounting bolt arrangement is because the cut out for the bottom locking lug makes the rear bottom of the receiver too thin for the stock bolt. The new CZ455 has only a single locking lug and consequently the rear stock bolt threads directly into the receiver. I like my rifle and my new CZ455, but I wish the safety didn't operate backwards to every other safety on the planet.
