Well I screwed up royally!!!! I did not have enough ammo to shoot the matchAngry I took 1500 rounds total and I had a box of 100 setback for the match and a few, 32 for sighters, but the box of 100 turned out to be a mix of odds and ends I threw together just for plinking and shooting. All mixed unmarked.
As the old saying goes; beware of the man with one gun and loads!!
Next year.
Sitting in the heat of the Black Hills tonight.

RE: Baker
Kurt it was good to meet you finally at Baker. Was hoping to pick your brains a little on the 44's and chat in general but you'd burnt up your ammo and gone. Sorry to have missed the opportunity. My son did pretty well on the Saturday but the conditions left him floundering on the Sunday. His father...well.. he was in the 'wading pool' the whole weekend .. Rolleyes
Certainly is an interesting range. Tongue

rgds.. Gavin.

Yes Gavin, it was a pleasure meting you and your Son. A fine Ladd he is. It's always good to see a young Son or Daughter outshoot dear ole Dad. Smile
The Baker Big Hill range is one of my favorite ranges to shoot on. It is about the most challenging ranges to shoot on and beautiful scenery down range and looking from down range back up to the line. Winds were unusually mild this time.
I hope to see you two again Gavin.
