Just read your response and I'm wondering is the lube you use for blow tubing different than wiping? The last year I shot, which was 2005 I was wiping and using white lightning which I still have a pound of. Prior to that I used Paul Mathews lube which I still have some of that in a pint container. I'm going to try the Bullshop NASA lube is that good for pan lubing? I feel like I'm starting all over again.

Charlie,
I use White Lightning (WL) when wiping because I have a few remaining pounds of it. Previously, prior to switching to wiping, I really liked it for blow tubing. It's my belief that when blow tubing one wants a softer lube that hydrates well & WL fits the bill. The problem as you likely know is, with the passing of Dan Theodore, the formula for WL was lost. And, for what it's worth, I have found that it tends to be a little too soft for pan lubing & handing the bullets when pushing them out of the lube cake.
It's also my belief that when wiping the lube is less critical and a little firmer lube like SPG works well. I have not tried NASA lube nor DGL, but when my supply of WL is gone I plan on trying DGL for wiping or may go back to SPG, which is what I used prior to switching to WL.
