There's that white stuff again Don. Don't see much of that around here. Temperatures slowly dropping as our late Autumn gets ready for Winter. We won't manage snow though..but we do have electricity ..today at any rate. Tongue Almost cool enough to head to the garage and start casting again

Yup, just about April. We got into the low 70s today, kind of a strange but welcome feeling... Don, I'd share it with you if I could. Shoot sharp, Mike

It was 70 the last 2 or 3 days. Still not terribly cold, been holding around 35, that's why the snows not belly deep to a tall injun.

Well, the snow shouldn't last long then. Did you get your power back? Shoot sharp, Mike

RE: Just about April
Temps got to about 40 yesterday. So now we got about 4 inches of mostly white ice.. Then it snowed a bit last night, so now with that front moving on we have ground blizzards... The weather guessers say we might bet to 45 today.. It'll be a couple of days before this slush melts.

Just noticed the recording of Up and Down weather outside the Midwest. Last night in Ohio there was an artic blast that returned us to the 20s overnight. Today however temp has risen to 30s making for a great casting session out in garage. Hopefully I'll soon have Squirreled away the necessary 1500-2000 parts for this summer's steel critter hunting. We rather suffer heat while shooting in July than over the pot. Best of luck, shoot small. Anyone have good recipe for Steel Critter, wife refuses to cook it. Tongue

RE: Just about April
Gee Don you are making my part of the world sound nice :-). We are having really warm temperatures right now. Quite a bit higher than usual, the sun is out and my wife told me it's supposed to hit 80 degrees in the next day or so.

I was up at Gun Lake casting last weekend. We still have snow on the ground but the lake ice is melting fast. Morning temperatures were 38 degrees. About perfect for casting. I got a few hundred money bullets cast up for the Borchardt, and some .38-55's for a schuetzen match next weekend.

Chris.
