Yeh, could do that, but this barrel is a bit large for a trapdoor,,, would look like something was on steroids..:0

Don't let a little detail like that slow you down Don, go ahead and build the rifle of your dreams.

Make it the one you can shoot target & silhouette with in such a caliber and configuration that it always is the first one you reach for whenever you even think about going to the range.

The critical factor is that it meets & exceeds your expectations and vision of the perfect rifle and that requires some critical thinking and problem solving, for once it is complete things are pretty much finalized.
