Dont know about the load, have never shot BPC before, traded a Ruger NO1 in .223 for it.

RE: Good find
I had one of those, sort of, and while I never really put it on paper it seemed to shoot well with a postel bullet and about 68 or so grains of Goex Ctg. The one I had was purchased as a kit a long time ago from Cape Outfitters. It has since been re barreled and is now a 44-77.
If there is one fault that I have found with those its the extractor. Now I don't know about factory built guns but the one I had the extractor would roll back far enough that you could easily chamber a round in front of the extractor. A little welding and some fitting and that doesn't happen any more.
My guess is a little trigger tune up perhaps and you will have a nice shooting rifle. You may also want to seriously consider replacing that rear sight at some point in time.
