Wyoming BPTR results.
The Outland family did a bang up job once again of putting on the Wyoming State BPTR midrange championships.
This year saw the largest number of competitors since this match started. There were some fantastic scores shot, and a few folks that shot bptr for the first time that left with smiles on their faces, and already thinking about coming back next year.
So mark your calendars for the 3rd weekend in May of 2019.

My friend John and I really enjoyed being there. Great range and run well. John and I felt like we were rubbing shoulders with the cool kids! Thanks for those that made this shoot possible.

It was great having you guys there. Hope to see you in the target rifle matches more often. I thought you shot exceptionally well for your first time out.

Steve, I think you were one of at least 5 new shooters at the match. I tried to visit with everyone a little over the weekend and it sounded like a good time was had by all.
My standard line is that a mid range match is the best place to try your hand and learn a lot while not getting beat up too bad over the course of fire. 200 teaches you to mind your technique, 300 reminds you to take careful aim and adjust for conditions, 600 tells you that it's better to be lucky than good or that the two other targets are easy but now you are in the real world.
Thank you Don, and yes I'll be back for sure! I was pleased with my score, in spite of my rough go on the fifth stage. Lost a few points on that stage....
