RE: Wyoming State Midrange
Eddie ,Shawn and myself were the patch shooters may of been others but I don't know.
I shot the 77 Shiloh, 45-90 standard chamber, Brooks dual diameter bullet cast 16-1, wrapped in SC 55y. Jamison cases primed BR2, 82 grains OE 1 1/2f, thin napa rubber cork wad 44/45 caliber Muzzleloader original dry lubed felt wad. Wiped between shots with BACO bore wipe system, felts wet with Napa cutting oil water (1-7) followed in 2 1/2 in dry flannel patch.
Altho there was one shot at 600 I didn't wipe LOL . Knocked a couple of rounds out of the line box, Robert and I were talking about the weird things we were seeing in the flags and mirage. In all that confusion, I stuffed another round in the chamber closed the breech and fired... Luckily enough it came up a 6 at 10,, but it wasn't as good as the 9 and 5 in the previous shot. LOL
As soon as the round went off I knew what I had done. Robert said geez where did that come from I didn't see that much change. I laughed and said I'm just glad it was on paper. Told him what I had done, we laughed, but he did say, Cripes I thought you could do that wiping thing in your sleep. LOL
A wise man can always be found alone. A weak man can always be found in a crowd.
