Danged copy cats
I am never ceased to be amazed at the length some will go to to try and grab a piece of market share. And that's all well and good, but for cryin out loud you'ld think they could at least get the model number rightBlush

Oh, this will just give those wanting a 77 a chance to shoot one while waiting for the good one to arrive. You are doing a great job of advertising for them ! Smile

I don't know at 2 grand a pop, waiting for the good one seems the prudent thing to do..

I'd wait for the Shiloh, although the "period style laser engraving" sounds interesting. I wasn't aware of any lasers in 1877/1878 :-) :-)

It wasn't that long ago, that we could go to the Shiloh web-site and look-over several "shop rifles" for sale. Not anymore; what is the waiting period these days?
That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!

RE: Danged copy cats
I saw the other day where someone said something about 12-14 months.
I wonder if they're selling enough rifles as they come off the floor that they don't have time to put them up? Even when they did put some up on the web , within a few days there wouldn't be much but some oddball thing left.
