And 1 more range to add to the list. www.bmrpa.org

Bismarck Rifle and Pistol Assoc. has 2 ranges. The outdoor range is NRA approved and is located 10 miles s. and 2 miles e. of McKenzie, ND. The south half of the range has a cowboy action section, and a full silhouette course (.22 rimfire, bullseye pistol, large pistol/levergun and centerfire rifle) to 500 m. It also has target backers at 100, 200, and 300 yds., and about 12 or so permanent concrete benches, and 8 or so moveable concrete benches; all under a covered firing line. The north half of the range is the long range side. It has a concrete lined pit w/ 16 (I think) retractable target frames, and shooting berms from 200 to 1,000 yds. The range face straight east, so it's a little better for visibility as the sun gets higher; but w/ a gift of free land for the range nobody said "no." And yes it's windy, and often a lot of wind; however, it's North Dakota. It is supposed to be windy. The indoor range in south Bismarck is also NRA approved, and has 16 firing points w/ return targets to 50'. Firing points run from 15 feet to 50 m.

Check the calendar heading in the tool bar to find what's going on and when. So there you have it, and hopefully I did a better job this time compared to the lousy job earlier.Cool

No, not up to this time. Might be a practical to add .22 bpcr to our Spring silhouette match, which is only one day. I have long had the dream of adding a day of creedmoor paper shooting to that match, but the high power boys in the club don't want us shooting up their target frames with our big bullets. I'd have to build our own frames. Hadn't thought of the .22 possibility.

Making a 2 day shoot with one day for the big guns and 1 for the 22's might get you a good crowd in.
I know of a few places where they shoot 22 bpcr according to the "rules" and then have an "Open" class where any rifle not falling into the 22bpcr specs, but able to be loaded singly can shoot and compete for that category.
Getting a couple of banks of targets from the 22 bpcr association, and scrounging some old grader blades, and let the fun beginWink
