It turns out there isn't much of a report on the Money bullet, I fired 8 of them and 2 tumbled. So that ended that, can't shoot a match with 25% of the bullets tumbling. I didn't cast these bullets but all the measurements were correct on them so I don't know what is causing the problem. Sorry for not having more info. for you.

I have been shooting the BACO money bullet (45-70) for about a year------------i have had the best luck with them when cast pretty darned hard----------say 15 BN-------------its shot well from the start once the correct powder charge was zeroe'd in on--------------i did not have much success at lower velocities---------calculators tell me velocity is between 1275 and 1300 fps

I always seem to have a bit of lead but it hasn't materially effected accuracy in the 15 rounds during a sillywet relay

I ordered a PJ 1.450 .444 money bullet last Thursday for the .45-70. It should still make weight for the NRA weight limits for their pit safety.
Maybe I will get some cast by the time I take off for the Q in a few weeks.
The wind is blowing a steady 20 mph here this morning and I think I will see if a large black trash bag might have been caught on the 900 yard fence over night and see how they fly patched with some Helix paper .0025 over bore diameter and breach seat.
And I have some loaded with 98 gr of 1.5 K for the .45-90 that has a throated chamber.
