RE: Bull Barrel
tombstone, did you ask Shiloh what the approximate weight would be? My 16lb Bull barreled #3 is not a lot more than 15lbs with a 30" barrel. At least that's what my wife's old postal scale says.
I'm sure you'll love the rifle when it arrives.
Chris.

Hmm. Maybe my wife's scale need's calibrating. I can't imagine that the extra 4" of barrel on your friends rifle would make it 3 1/2 pounds heavier than mine.
Thanks for the information Dean.
Chris.

RE: Bull Barrel
Mike, wasnt kocken C- Sharps. my 40-70 ss is a bad ass gun. It has a 18 twist badger and is my sillywet rifle. It will shoot PP or GG better than I can.
I just have allways wanted a new built to spec Shiloh. Wood I buy another C-Sharps? If it was the right rifle I would in a hartbeat.
