RE: The American Sharps Shooters, 2013-6
Kurt, I'll do a lot more with the .50/90 but right now I'm busy playing with my new .40/70 SS. What a sweetheart!! You'll see me with that rifle at the silhouette matches. Maybe I'll send you some paper patched bullets to see what you can do with them.

A big thank you to those responsible for gettin' this publication posted here. These are good articles, about stuff and things by folks we know. I'm already lookin' forward to the next issue Big Grin.

Kurt, I'll be doing a lot more shooting with my .50s, .50-70 & .50-90, so maybe some better reports will be coming. I'm anxious to see what Don does with that original .50-70.

And to all, thank you very much for your kind words about TASS. In the coming editions you should be seeing more, just more of everything. We're going to try to fill each edition with three stories plus the Outstanding Products column. Maybe more can be added and a Cartridge Profile column has been suggested. Reviewing one cartridge per edition would last a good long time and with each of those cartridges we'd have new things to say because of new bullets or new powders. And while we have a writing staff of just three people, we will look for articles by other authors as well. Here's hopin' you'll continue to like what you see. Shoot sharp, Mike

Thanks Mike for the future preview of TASS.

These writers have a ton of experience and that makes for interesting reading.

Mr. John gets a big "thank you" for the way he supports the sport with his products and now the printed word.

Thanks to all for the efforts,

Jim
