Dats why I want to do it now while you still have some left.

RE: In the books - Don McDowell - 09-21-2014

Big GrinBig Grin probably used up about 7 lifetimes of luck, winning that rifle... Hope to see how it shoots in a day or two.

RE: In the books - Don McDowell - 09-22-2014

Thanks Gary, it is a very special rifle to be sure and certain. I will have it up and running soon, and it will be on the line at next years Nationals.

RE: In the books - Kurt - 09-22-2014

Don.

Maybe next shooting season there will be two of those east coast parlor guns on line shooting side by side.

If you would Don, I would like to see some close up's on the action and the sights.
That stock configuration looks like what they call the Varmint configuration.

RE: In the books - Don McDowell - 09-22-2014

Huh What you mean maybe?????Big Grin
Next year buddy we're going to do this thing, as it will likely be the very last one, if the numbers don't come up, unless they do something stupid like try to hold it at Perry or such.[/u]

RE: In the books - Kurt - 09-22-2014

How many did they have on the roster Don?

RE: In the books - Don McDowell - 09-22-2014

It stayed pretty close to 43 . Might have been a couple more for the Creedmoor, but some didn't stay for the Creedmoor and just shot both legs of midrange.

RE: In the books - Kurt - 09-22-2014

Well next year maybe I can make it. I had plans on it for this year but I just could not make it. I just could not just walk 100 yards with out getting winded and had to go down to my knees to keep my legs from shaking and catch my breath walking in my back yard. I even had to cancel out my Buffalo hunt this year.
