I compress just enough that after the wads are in, the fat part of the bullet is either just about .10 above the case mouth.

You betcha, keep us posted on your trials with that bullet. I'm comtemplating having Brooks cut me another one of his adjustables with that dual diameter only this time sized for 45 cal. Being able to shoot dirty and maintain decent accuracy is a sort of fun thing to do.
