My report, this Cabela's (Lacey, WA) had only two Vortex scopes on display with prices beginning at $399.99. I think those two scopes were basically twins. And I did ask about a sale. The reply was that now sales are scheduled but seeing as how we are in the middle of October maybe we could expect a sale within the next few weeks. Shoot sharp, Mike

I have an Cel. 80mm ED and love it. It's a heavy one-I use a Cabin Tree tripod for when I free stand it.
Otherwise I use a Sinclair bench mount.
