Thanks Don it will be a hoot i'm sure-----------and a bit frustrating just like big bore sillywet Smile

We'll see about stand alone rifles after we get out feet wet--our club shoots 22 silhouette once a month

I think the 22 bpcr matches are attracting so many because the ammunition is relatively simple and cheap. I can carry 500 rounds in my shooting bag, and have 3-400 rounds available in my line box.
There's no reloading and no case cleaning, it's quiet, and shooting a 40-60 round match in an afternoon doesn't wear you down...
Keep us posted on how you local 22 matches go.
