When we were up on the Bearlodge, there was a pickup from Michigan. Those two guys had to of spent just on gas and license more than what a good beef would of cost them. I'll bet their gas bill the 2 days we were there had to be running well over 100$ as many trips up and down the road they made.

Don

Bear Lodge is that up by the Burgess Junction?

RE: Elk ? - Don McDowell - 11-23-2012

No Kurt it's north of Sundance.

RE: Elk ? - Kurt - 11-23-2012

I saw a very large heard, very large! a few months ago on Burned Mountain just down the road by the other Bear Lodge Smile

Kurt this Bearlodge is the mtn north of Sundance and it runs north from there almost to the Montana line.

RE: Elk ? - Kurt - 11-23-2012

Burned Mountain is most likely socked by snow by now. It's over 9000 ft.

RE: Elk ? - Don McDowell - 11-24-2012

Might be some snow up there. Some places are a little short on snow yet, heard them saying Jackson is still not got much. Don't think alot of the northern ranges have got as much as they should have yet. This drought deal might not be thru with us...

Confused I think all the critters migrated out getting ready for the December 21'st Armageddon. All the deer disappeared here too. Not a track anyplace for the last three weeks. Huh maybe they feel the ground shaking from the Yellowstone all the way to hereConfused
