RE: Shooting the Borchardt - Stephen Borud - 05-28-2018 That is a nice rifle Don. Looks like it will be a barn burner. SB RE: Shooting the Borchardt - Don McDowell - 05-28-2018 Thanks Stephen. I'm looking forward to having the time to set down and go to work with it. I think you're right when I get the right load found for it, it's going to be a barn burner. RE: Shooting the Borchardt - Hanz - 05-29-2018 Nice shooting. New rifles are always fun. I can see why you like it. RE: Shooting the Borchardt - Don McDowell - 05-30-2018 Thanks Hanz. The rifle didn't come with a rear sight, the fella I got it from said he thought it was MVA, well turns out close but not quite, talked to the person that had the rifle built and he said he thought he still had the rear sight. The one he gave me won't fit. So it had the scope blocks on it already so now I have an MVA 23 inch scope mounted on it. When I next get a chance I'll see if it'll shoot any better with the scope. |
