After walking almost 12 miles Kaleb shot a forky whitetail buck. So it was a good lick.

Good going Don and Stephan, I hunted hard last Sat, Sun, and Monday, busted a big 11 point, and two really good 8 point bucks in Arkansas and here in Oklahoma slipping around on the ground with my old 58 cal round ball gun.

Sounds like a boat load of fun Gunner.

It was a blast, I had to whoa up and save some tags for Sharps rifle hunting when that season opens.

Don

Nice antelope and great pictures. Years ago Dad built a two wheel cart using heavy duty Timken bearings and strong axle for pulling behind ATV. ATV type tires. Cattle panel welded around for enclosure, just big enough for a newforn calf. They work great for hauling hunted critters as well. I built one as well and son uses now. That looks like a good heavy duty trailer.
I use Hi Mt. Jerky seasoning when I make mine. Wyoming product if I remember right.

Rick I've been using Hi Mt , used to use a mix that came out of Canada, can't remember the name of it now, but it was really good.

This is cart is the ATV backpacker, made in Montana. Supposed to have a 1200 lb capacity. The neat thing about it the wheels are mounted on a lever so the bed will lay flat on the ground to load it. Would be really handy for loading an elk or a moose.

Cool idea on folding down to the ground for loading!

That is impressive loading of a critter! Nice outfit!

Yeh I saw one several years ago, and decided maybe best to get one, when the FS started shutting off roads where we hunted elk, making camping close to where we wanted to hunt an almost impossibility. So I figured with one of those things could at least ride out from where we could camp, hunt and if we got an elk drag it to the road and bring it back to camp.
