RE: I almost forgot.... - Kurt - 08-03-2020 Gussy, yet they are nice and very good dies. I had a set for the 6mm that would seat a bullet with zero runout. RE: I almost forgot.... - Gussy - 08-04-2020 Finger savers for .22 bullets!! RE: I almost forgot.... - beltfed - 08-04-2020 Re. Seating dies. I had very good luck with Bonanza/Forster bench rest seating dies to load my 308s for my M1A and Palma rifle and also 223s for my AR match rifles back in the 16 yrs when I was on the Wisconsin Service Rifle Team and did some Palma matches . You guys "make" me want to get out those rifles and use some of my old stock of match ammo-M852, 168 gr match loads, match 75 gr BTHP, and Amax for the Ar and for the Palma rifle. beltfed/arnie RE: I almost forgot.... - Kurt - 08-03-2021 Arnie, I had some fine Military match rifles, M1's I got from the CMP a very fine heavy barreled Match M-!-A from Springfield Armory several O-3-A 2 and 3's Never liked the SP1 but I did the .308's and the 06's but they? all went down the road when I quit the CMP matches. Now the only ones I have left are the 73 and 78 trapdoor rifle and carbine. RE: I almost forgot.... - Randy Bohannon - 08-03-2021 Couldn’t agree more about the cute .380’s the 1911 type 380’s are so much nicer than the blow back PPK’s . Much easier to control with the great ammo that was available they are legitimate self defense cartridge now. RE: I almost forgot.... - Don McDowell - 08-03-2021 Randy I sure like mine and I’m seeing the 380 ammo becoming more available RE: I almost forgot.... - beltfed - 08-03-2021 Guys, For you 380 affictionados, take a look at the S&W Bodyguard 380. It is a double action only, hammer fired, is a true locking action and the trigger can be repeat pulled for a second strike in the unlikely event of a failure to fire. good visible sights for us old guys, a laser, AND, it weighs only 11 oz. I love mine. In my pocket just now. arnie |
