RE: Revisitting the .40-70 - Kurt - 01-08-2014 I never have used Wano J.B. but I have just about used up a mixed 2F and 3F case of Swiss so I don't know how Wano shoots but I would suspect it does OK also. Just about any powder will do fine if one can get around the fouling. Heck I even used blasting powder we used for blowing tree stumps and splitting logs we had out in the machine shed when I was a Kid to load the .43
