RE: 44 money bullet 1023yds - Martini2 - 06-30-2014 Hello out West, Just joined to check results. Please allow me to enter a brief thanks for our experience at Big Hill at Long Range shoot last. It was the first experience we two OHIO shooters had at real long range. It was a great experience that was made bit easier by meeting Kurt as one of the first campers on scene when we arrived. Easy to say our learning curve was steep but rewarding out to 1023 yds. Locally we only have 500yd range available under cramped conditions considering the facilities at Big Hill. 44 caliber or the 45-70s we employed provided ample opportunity to see how ye old Bison hunters employed the "Art". Thanks again for show and tell and good hosting. However we would have been just as impressed without the wind machine being turned up a notch Best regards RobertB
RE: 44 money bullet 1023yds - Don McDowell - 06-30-2014 Robert jump right into the discussions any time. Glad you enjoyed your trip out this direction. That bunch at Baker are a great group to be around. RE: 44 money bullet 1023yds - Martini2 - 07-01-2014 Thanks all again, for welcome response typical of western hospitality. I was moved to jump on this thread only because the photos of long range targeting were surrounded by some of same characters I had talked to at Big Hill. Of course we did not know what great legionaries that were present at that time:-) As soon as I learn how I'll post Benefice photos RobertB RE: 44 money bullet 1023yds - Shadow 4 - 07-01-2014 (06-30-2014, 09:46 AM)Martini2 Wrote: Hello out West, Just joined to check results. Here's a reminder how small the 1023 is ![]()
RE: 44 money bullet 1023yds - Kurt - 07-01-2014 Robert. I could not reply to your PM, you must have it locked. I will say this about the Baker Big Hill shoot. I have shot there four times now and I have never heard any grumbling how it's run from any of the shooters there. You will not meet a finer bunch of shooters to shoot along side with. Hope to see you two there again next year. Kurt |
