RE: Stevens 44 - Don McDowell - 07-03-2014 Alright fellers that's enough of the wisequacks.
RE: Stevens 44 - Mike - 07-04-2014 Don, Good doin's on your Stevens. There might be a .22 in my future too, but right now it's some ways into the future. RE: Stevens 44 - Don McDowell - 07-04-2014 Mike the 22bpcr game is a ton of fun, but dont' try it unless you're prepared to get swallowed in.

Don, Oh, I'm weak enough to be swallowed in, for sure. I've already done some pricing on a .22 low wall... But like I said, somewhere in the future. RE: Stevens 44 - Don McDowell - 07-04-2014 If they would of had a heavier profile barrel in stock I probably would be waiting on pins and needles for the new lowall order to get filled... But during the search for a suitable barrel this Stevens showed up [/u]
RE: Stevens 44 - Kurt - 07-04-2014 CPA will put a 28" Douglas premium 1.250 at the breach 1" at the muzzle on their rifle for you. RE: Stevens 44 - Don McDowell - 07-04-2014 Well for the time being, this rifle is all I'll ever need for a 22. Dang thing just sits so nice in the offhand, and that poor little chicken swinger just gets settled down and goes on another big spin.![]() Need to find some way to get the rams up above the grass so I can see what she'll do at long distance. RE: Stevens 44 - bryany - 07-07-2014 Don, have you thought about getting some cows? They might help keep the grass down. Bryan RE: Stevens 44 - Don McDowell - 07-07-2014 (07-07-2014, 10:12 AM)bryany Wrote: Don, have you thought about getting some cows? They might help keep the grass down. Dang might have to give that a try. But ya know when the cows was in that pasture then it was to crowded to shoot.... will have to take this one to the drawing board I spoze.![]()
