Sure Don. factory letter says shipped 1876, then again (unsold I guess) in 1879
Listed by serial number in Arming the West. as shipped west by S.H.and G. in 1879.
I shot it today....60 grains 2f, 330 bullet...4 inches at 100 yards. I've had the gun for 30 years and I'm playing with PP and greasers now. fun to shoot. ][attachment=908][attachment=908]

A couple of more guns that I've restocked. the Shiloh is a 50 90 in XXXX presentation wood. cast my own nose cap too. enjoy....Ken

Ditto on the ML rifles. I have 2 Thompson/Center rifles (both kits), 5 interchangeable barrels from .45 to .54 cal. Both are winners, perform well, and have shot a lot of stuff from targets, bunnies and squirrels up to some fairly big deer. Ya can't beat fun for a good time!
I forgot about the shotguns and revolvers, but that stuff is another story.
