Well, when China takes us over in a few years maybe we will be able to get lead again!
I panicked a couple of years ago when I was running low on lead, so I bought what I estimated to be a 10-year supply. Then Covid hit and I haven't shot near as much as I usually do since. Adding another 700 pounds to my stash should get me by for a while.
I wish I had done the same thing with primers! I'm pretty good on powder for 5 or 6 years depending.

I' pretty well set with primers. I have a case of wolf and Chech primers plus Fed and Win.
plus a couple old $7. $8. bricks from the 70's so this will hold me if I don't get to wild plus I have around 600 lbs of Robot dip solder.
Powder might get to be a problem. I called a local powder supplier an hour from me and he said I should get 2F Swiss in a week or two.
I stocked up after the first primer shortage.

I don't think it is "IF", more like "when".
My real surplus is buried behind the big oak on the south end of the ridge. So, they'll have to look hard and long for that!

Well Jim,
How did you make out with that big hunk of lead?
I got busy today and mixed up a batch of alloy before it got to hot outside. I ended up with 35-9 to 10 pound bricks.
This should be enough till next season
Now I better get them down in the basement before they restrict me to a 15 pound weight limit they will allow me to carry for a spell after fixing my back.

Kurt, nice looking bricks. What did you use for a mold? Get that back taken care of.
