Stephen, that is a very nice looking front sight. Is the post Copper or Bronze? Pressed in or screwed in?

Update in the 40/50 BN.
We took it out to a friends ranch. We shot 47 rounds with out wiping, blowing down the muzzle maybe 3 or 4 times throughout the day, barrel sights only. We hit a 20 pound propane bottle at 681 yards, soccer ball size rocks at 534,480,385 and 200 yards or less. No issue with accuracy or fowling. In fact 200 yard shots were plum easy. The 282 grain bullet mold I built is very accurate and will do very well this fall hunting. I can't wait to make meat with this little round.
