I don't like the MVA rear mount or the way the reticle barrel is mounted in that scope. Maybe I shoot a to heavy of a torqueing rifle but after about 10 shots I look at a X instead of a +. I had Jim work with it and it still does not stay put.

The dang elevation screw backs itself off when you're shooting a few shots, so when you loosen the lock lever so you can adjust the elevation the dang thing drops about 2 lines on the staff... Hell of a way to burn a ton of ammo... This mount also has the big knobs on top, so every time I reach over to loosen or tighten the lock lever, you change the windage a minute or 3... So then you get to chase the wind again... If they sold primers and powder I'ld be thinking it's a conspiracy of some sort..

Figured I better update this. Got rid of the fancy knob on the windage, now you don't change 20 minutes by simply unlocking the elevation slide. Loctited the nut on the elevation lead screw so now loosing the lock doesn't drop you 20 minutes as well as give an unknown amount of windage correction....
But this bullet has been tested in some gusty winds, and some fishtailing quartering tail winds... It's holding up very well at 1000 yds.
It's just somewhat awe inspiring to have 3-4 bullet splats touching on the steel at 1000 yds.
Now the big trick will be to get it to happen during a match.

Another thing , I had got ahold of a carton of Remington Large rifles , so I loaded the twenty rounds for today's testing with those , just trying to stretch my br-2's for the important stuff.... Now I'm thinking I'll just go ahead and burn thru these Remingtons and look for some more.
