That is a neat video, good that somebody takes the time to load and shoot the ctgs and video them.
I just wish he didn't have to work so hard to wrap them bullets.

Very nice and very well done video. Unfortunately I do agree with Don it does show things to be slow and almost painful. I guess the best way to roll all things into one would be to say "Amateur trying to do the job of a Professional". While the video is very interesting, I would think that it shows enough hard work to probably turn many away from using paper patch bullets. On the up side, it does show that old guns and obsolete cartridges can be brought back to life with a little work and effort.

There were several things about the video that surprised me, but what surprised me the most was pouring melted bullet lube on top of the fiber wad. I don't see how that would not soak into the wad, and maybe completely through the wad before it hardened. All in all, however, it was an informative video especially for a complete novice that may be interested.

the melted lube works very well , I have done it with an eye dropper .It is super fast,and the lube hardens so fast that the wads do not soak up anything much at all;..

Putting a tail on the patched bullets is a waste of paper.
Slow? It only took a few minutes to cast & patch bullets, then
form the brass and load 20 rounds ready for the test firing?

Be my luck if I tried that the wad would fall over and the powder charge would become a block of wax mixed with some chunks of powder and the extra oils would drip down and kill the primer.... If the whole dang thing didn't go off from the heat of the wax.

That's true Bruce but most of the comments there were wishing he'ld show them how to patch a 308...
I think a good feature like that only follow it up with swattin a gong at distance , and hearing the little girl giggles coming from grown men every time they hit those gongs , gets people fired up and more interested in trying it.
