finally back sending lead down range - chaneylake - 01-19-2015

first time I have shot my .40-65 in about 10 months, to much crap going on

I was kinda rusty at 300 yards but sorta pleased with the outcome, especially since I still consider myself a rookie at black powder

I started this sport from scratch 4 years ago this past fall, did not even know how to cast a boolit, the learning curve has been a ton of fun and I still have a long ways to go

this target is all my 64 yo eyes could do today

I'm already happy to be able see a target at all at 300 yds..and I'm only 54 ! Target looks pretty good to me. Near two months since I've fired a shot and probably another month or more before it happens. A long time between drinks me thinks Undecided You're making smoke and thats a good thing.

Gavin.
