You must have, as it's always right during or after the cream can supper.

RE: Quigley Flier - Mike - 02-02-2015

Hmmm... I didn't know! You know I like knives. I even give knives to my friends. Shoot sharp, Mike

Didn't you and Allen come down there that evening? I thought you was there. It's really not a "knife show" more of a presentation about how some of those guys make their knifes. Not real sure there's even any completed works to see..

I think Allen went back to town with Garman for dinner and such. And I had eaten a hot sausage dinner down in the main area that kept me pretty close to the blue or green huts. So, I didn't do much at all Friday evening, except to scare Carol's dog.

RE: Quigley Flier - Old Jim - 02-02-2015

I got that.

I've made my last trip to the Q, 13 years in a row. It's been fun. I can remember seeing folks there for their first time ... some folks that post here regularly Big Grin.

Best time I had there was in 2010 when on Sat. evening I had missed two targets all day long. But it all went away on Sunday Angry, ended-up in 65th.

Lots of fun, glad I was able to do it.

Jim

Planning to be there with my boy. Hope to see some of you up and down the line. Jim ...I dont think I'll be able to make 13 in a row without a lottery win...but I'd certainly like too. There are plenty of worse ways to spend a weekend. Wink

.. Gavin.

Gavin, what will your son be shooting? After Old Jim said he ain't gonna make it this year I thought I should round up a replacement or two for him. Told both my nephews I'd help them with ammo and I'll loan my TD if needed or my 40-70 Saddle gun. I told them Montana had some damn good looking young women at that shoot so maybe they will get excited enough to show up. New blood , younger guys and gals shooting maybe that is exactly what us old turds really ought to be doing, mentoring and enabling young shooters.I am only 60 but still not tired of looking at and talking to young women. Hmmm bobw
