RE: 2016 Rocky Mountain regional, and High Plains challenge - Gunlaker - 07-26-2016 Don I'm already going to be running late on the way home :-). We've been doing a big offroad family camping trip for about 20 years. It takes place the day after I get back. Last year it would have been no problem, but since the match dates shifted a bit it's going to be a tight squeeze. I have to pack up my old jeep before I leve for Byers :-) Chris. RE: 2016 Rocky Mountain regional, and High Plains challenge - Don McDowell - 07-26-2016 Looking forward to seeing you again. RE: 2016 Rocky Mountain regional, and High Plains challenge - Gunlaker - 07-27-2016 I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again too. I hope temperatures are not too high this year. I'm going to see if I can put a bigger AC unit into my wife's tin can trailer. Last year it was the same temperature inside and out. Bryan says I should consider sleeping in a tent because it'll cool off much faster when the sun goes down. Chris. RE: 2016 Rocky Mountain regional, and High Plains challenge - Don McDowell - 07-27-2016 It could be cooler than last year, but it could also be hotter.. Weather that time of the year on the high plains is a bit unpredictable. But the nice thing is the nights do usually cool down nicely at that elevation,, the mosquitos and knats, also like the cool of the night.. |
