How many shooters signed up Don?

RE: World Championship 1000 yd - Don McDowell - 03-10-2017

31? There's a couple of muzzleloaders and vintage snipers shooting.
This range is an interesting place with its mirage, and the targets blending in with the soil in the target backstop
Make your plans for next year, it's a good match

I checked the WX, It looked like a find day for shooting with a max wind of 6 mph little warm for this Kid.
Yes I had plans for this one but other things had to take preferences even if I didn't like doing them.
What's on the slate for the morning? And what rifle did you use?

Hit the wrong button
Don I planned shooting this match because I was going to be just 60 miles north of Phoenix and I was planning visiting a friend in Phoenix. But I would not make a special trip to shoot that match. Cost just getting there from here is just to high.

Shot the Brownung Oregon 45-90 barrel. Gun shot very well, nut case pulling the trigger was the big hang up.
They say there's another match over at Kingman in a week or so that is real good

I'm going to start sticking close to home shooting Silhouettes, I want to learn that game. I'm going to shoot Effingham the last week in March and Alma Mich. in April.

Hey Don, how has the weather been for you at BA?

Sillouette is fun, I haven't found the " perfect" front aperature yet.

Gary it's a hot bugger over 100 on the mat this afternoon. Been some pretty knarly wind switches. Wasn't uncommon for the flags and the mirage to sow complete opposite. Did I mention it is hot?
