22 BPCR rifle - Cecil Sauer - 08-29-2017

Needing a rifle for a young shooter to compete this winter at Smithmoore's 22BPCR matches. Shorter, lighter barrel. 24" maybee? Thought I would see if anyone here had a rifle for us to buy.????

I would part with my CPA but it's really not a kids rifle. Look at Gunbroker, there was a flock of the Winchester/Miroku lowalls listed there a couple of days ago running 7-900

Thanks Don. Sounds like a good plan. Its nice to touch and feel and eyeball down the bore before ya buy, but pictures on the web may have to do.

Three of them are supposed to be new in the box. One thing about it if the barrel is crapped out, there's a couple of real good choices in gunsmiths nearby that can fix that.

Cecil, I do have one of those Miroku's you can take a look at before you go to bidding.(it's not for sale) I don't know if you were there at Cody's the day Carol shot a 27 with it.

I have a Miroku lowall and I would not part with it. It's a fine light weight rifle 8 lbs 1oz with it's 24" 1/2 round barrel with the MVA tang sights good for the younger shooter to use. The Stock might be a little long, it is for my 9 year old grand daughter but she gets along just fine with it.

I put Browning BPCR sights on mine, love it. Shoot 22 silhouettes with it in the back yard.

Anyone have the Winchester 1885 High Grade Low Wall in .22? Are the squirrels really that 'golden'?

Steve, don't we need an upgrade on this thread?
