The Q weather this year, sounds like a real 'challenge' for sure. When we attended. There were Tornadoes in Billings and Miles City. The dirt there turns to grease, with very little water needed. LG RE: The American Sharps Shooters, 2018-3 - Mike - 08-09-2018 Thank you, Lumpy. And, yes, that wet clay at Quigley is sure greasy. A couple of the campers or trailers did need the tractor to pull them out. A new road or trail out of camp was also a big help. Shoot sharp, Mike RE: The American Sharps Shooters, 2018-3 - Lumpy Grits - 08-09-2018 When we were there. I pulled at least 3 folks out, with my Jeep CJ. Real happy my 1-ton dually was 4WD. ![]() Gary RE: The American Sharps Shooters, 2018-3 - Mike - 08-09-2018 Yes, my "wagon" was in 4-wheel drive when we headed out this year. No problems though, never spun a wheel that was noticed. Shoot sharp, Mike |
