1873 Winchester - Don McDowell - 12-28-2012

Looking like there is going to be Winchester marked 73's available againBig Grinhttp://www.galleryofguns.com/genie/default.aspx?item=534200137#
They get them out in a real 73 cartridge and that could end up getting me and the visa in real big trouble....

RE: 1873 Winchester - Lumpy Grits - 12-31-2012

Looks like the Winchester lawyers have added a 'safety' Dodgy

Doesn't bother a thing. That tang safety is the easiest ignorable thing they've ever done. Flip it forward to fire and forget about it.

Don, not sure it's a 'tang' safety.
Just wish that the safety wasn't on the Win. '86 I have.

They're listed on Gallery of guns.
I don't mind the tang safety on my 95 a bit. Like I say it's ignorable, and unlike that ugly crossbolt thing, it isn't really that noticable.
