Buffalo hunting and Aharoa related book recommendations - pacecars - 09-01-2019
Ok I have read Getting A Stand, the Buffalo Harvest, Shooting Buffalo Rifles of the Old West, Seller’s Sharps Firearms and Marcot’s Sharps Firearms. What would the group recommend next to further my education of the Buffalo Hunters and their guns?

By all means, read the Encyclopedia Of Buffalo Hunters and Skinners, Vol. 1 & 2, the Life of Billy Dixon, In Search of The Buffalo, Life In The Saddle by Frank Collinson, and (the best) The Border and the Buffalo by John R. Cook. Those will keep you busy for a while... Shoot sharp, Mike

The Time Of The Buffalo by Tom McHugh, ISBN 0-394-47618-2. Printed in 1972, I think!
