PG Recoil Pad - flintlokusa - 03-15-2020 Has any one used the PG Shooters Friend Recoil Pad ?? I was thinking about trying one on my 45-90 when I crank her up , any info ?? RE: PG Recoil Pad - Don McDowell - 03-15-2020 I've used the shooters friend recoil pad, but prefer the Limbsaver slip-on. RE: PG Recoil Pad - Lumpy Grits - 03-17-2020 Like mine and I shoot a Shiloh #1 in .45-90. You may also want to look into a mercury recoil reducer in the stock. Gary RE: PG Recoil Pad - Fogman01 - 03-17-2020 I use a Cabela's recoil pad that you wear on your shoulder since I need a cheek riser for long range; my slip on butt pad and the cheek riser don't work too well at the same time. The should pad I wear comfortably handled 45-100 loads shot every day for 9 days at Ben Avery. Your rifle can still show off it's butt plate and the shoulder pad is easy to take off your shoulder. |
