Walnut Hill swage press, made in OR - Gussy - 05-28-2021 If you're going to be at the Quigley shoot I'll have it there. Press, wire cutter, reloading adapter, set of bullet dies. $500 for everything. It's really heavy and I don't want to ship it. Probably cost over $75 to ship plus a really heavy box. RE: Walnut Hill swage press, made in OR - Kurt - 05-28-2021 Jim, What are the dies? RE: Walnut Hill swage press, made in OR - Gussy - 05-28-2021 I'll have to photograph a bullet and measure it. Weight is adjustable. I'll be back in the shop tomorrow. RE: Walnut Hill swage press, made in OR - Gussy - 05-29-2021 Bullet as shown, 529gr, .447 diameter, it about a 20-1 alloy. RE: Walnut Hill swage press, made in OR - Kurt - 05-29-2021 I use that press and it's a very good press but I wish I would have had Richard make me the shel holder attachment you have showing under the press. I have a die similar to that for the .50 and I made a draw die for stretching cases. I don't think that press will stay long on the table at the Q. RE: Walnut Hill swage press, made in OR - Gussy - 05-29-2021 Kurt are you in need of a tool post grinder? I bought one with the intention of making some dies for that press. Big heavy bugger! You would have to make an adapter for your lathe most likely. RE: Walnut Hill swage press, made in OR - Kurt - 05-29-2021 No I have a Share. It's hard to get along without a Tool post grinder when you fool around with cutting tools. RE: Walnut Hill swage press, made in OR - DirtySteve - 06-07-2021 How can I find you at the Quigley? I am interested but not fully committed... RE: Walnut Hill swage press, made in OR - Gussy - 06-08-2021 CabineTree, I'll have my usual white shelter . I'll be set up by Monday. Several places to the road side of the meeting area. Shade!! RE: Walnut Hill swage press, made in OR - Rockridge - 06-09-2021 Gussy: I'll take it, Please! I'll be at the Q on Tuesday. I've been wanting to try Swaging for probably 15 years. Thanks! Ed AKA Rockridge |
