Mould modification - Steveu - 07-08-2021
All,
Has anyone else have a mould that has a dog-point screw like this? It also has a small brass plug to put tension on the sprue plate pivot screw. The mould looks like it has been modified for a casting machine. I called Magma and they said it did not sound like their modification. I would like to do this to my other moulds.

I can find the screws. What I am looking for is the brass plug that has threads cut on one side that engages the sprue plate screw. I guess I could get a tap the appropriate size and thread a piece of brass rod. I am also curious to know who did the modification.
