I have a plastics supply house 13 miles from the house.
I buy a 48x96 sheet of the LDPE - 1/16" as in 0.060"
I has come out to about $1.50/ sq. ft. in the past.
I cut up the big sheet into handleable small sheets such as 12x12 or
could cut up into 8x11 to fit in a std envelope....

Yes they are on the ball. They are a little on the high priced to get things from but they have good stuff.
I get tooling from them.
