Hey Mister - Don McDowell - 04-23-2022

How’s come your not shooting today
Oh I don’t know kid guess I just don’t feel like it?

RE: Hey Mister - Kurt - 04-23-2022

LOL, Hey I remember you complaining that your not getting enough moisture Big Grin
It's been like that here more than less. If the ground is not white it's wet.
Rained so hard yesterday you could not see the neighbors and water standing all over the yard and the driveway washed out. but better days coming Big Grin I hope.

Kurt we are still very dry and in an extreme drought. This is good moisture but it's still short of what we need. This part of the country is in serious trouble if the moisture doesn't keep coming.

Yes, I been seeing it on the news with the wild fires starting this early.
Rick said that in one county in Nebraska they even banned using a charcoal grill outside.
The greenies blame climate change on carbon and cow fart gas, I blame it on space junk changing the current fields Big Grin

Here in Montana (Forsyth area) we are getting much needed moisture as well. I want to shoot but we need the snow or rain more.

I went out late this afternoon and shot the final forming shot for the .38-50. It was 81º but the winds were 25-31 mph so I just shot at 100 yards. I shot the last 51 rounds loaded with different powder loads of 3F swiss and 2F OE.
The 2F OE shot really well today again with just 4 out of 30 rounds going out to 2-1/4".
63 grains of 1.5 Swiss and 62 grains of 2F OE are showing to be very consistent in this rifle.
81º shooting with just a T shirt almost felt to warm Big Grin Rain is moving in again. I guess the saying April showers will bring May flowers, but I don't see any yet..........
