Don,
That appears to be a darn fine shooting rifle/load combo. How big is the white center? Judging from the information you’ve given, I’m guessing 44-77?

Jim thanks
the white is 22 inches
Yes it’s my #1 in 44-77 32 inch standard weight barrel

Don,
I could be picky that your group on the white center is a "donut" on the edges.....

I failed to mention, darn fine job on the shooters part as well!
That would count up nicely in a paper match.

Even a blind hog finds an acorn once in awhile
Finally getting a handle on this scope shooting thing
Now just get that donut hole filled up ?

RE: 438470 testing - Kurt - 07-04-2022

That scope shooting has been a tough road for me. I still don't like using one.

RE: 438470 testing - Don McDowell - 07-04-2022

It's different enough.
I'm finding that instead of resting the rifle in the sticks closer to the muzzle it's working better about !/2 way between the muzzle and the forearm, just ahead of the objective lense.
Also stick height so not having to fit the crosshair onto the target and keep it there is awfully important

Don,
Thanks for your observationa/thoughts on scoped BPCR rifle shooting.
Some of this may help me .
