Bread and fry them oysters, and you might have something, unless you got some good fresh cows milk with all the cream still inplace and make some oyster stew

I'm with you Don.
I could never handle them raw, they look like something the Dog coughed up Confused
I use a lot of river clams for cat fish bait and when I put them on the hook and see all that black stuff ooze out makes me that much more determent not to eat them raw Smile

Yessir if it ain't a vegetable or a fruit, it needs to be cooked, smoked and preserved.

First time I had those was in Port Lavaca, TX
Just got home and there was a blurb on the news about not eating them raw from the Gulf because of some thing or another.
If I get back to Shreveport this winter, I may have to come over and try some with you.

Shreveport?? What's there besides too many DEMOCRATS??

Monroe is in the same shape as are ALL the smaller towns in Northeast Louisiana!!

RE: Hooooooboyyyyy..... - Semtav - 05-18-2013

Monroe doesn't have Lenny Leach and all his Pratt 1340 tools and experience !!!
