Forsyth long range match - hipshot - 05-31-2013 The long range match on Saturday 30 has been canceled due to the weather. Dave RE: Forsyth long range match - Don McDowell - 05-31-2013 Is this going to spill over into the Quigley? RE: Forsyth long range match - Old Jim - 05-31-2013 Wasn't there another shoot nearby when the Q was cancell'd before ? RE: Forsyth long range match - Don McDowell - 05-31-2013 10 day forecast looks to be wamer and drier, so maybe things will get dried out in time. That would be nice. We could use some rain around here.. so send it downunder. The big white bird awaits us in a week to take us Stateside. We ordered snow for this years Q anyway ?

We were ready to head to Broadus but held back when we heard the amount of rain they got. Good thing we did. Now I'm sitting here with the RV loaded and ready to head to Big Hill and wondering what to do. The forecast is for some rain on Monday and Tuesday. Does the hill dry out pretty quick? We were in Forsyth two weeks ago for the Can-AM Silhouette match and we shot in the rain Friday. Saturday threatened all day but held off until supper time then the sky opened up and we had to cancel the Sunday match. You can't get up the hill to set targets once the tires on the ATVs start to clump up. After Big Hill we're off to the 'Q'. Got my 2011 T-Shirt ready. Going to wear it as a good luck charm. ![]() Paul RE: Forsyth long range match - Don McDowell - 06-02-2013 If there's enough rain to keep the Big Hill from happening, I'ld suggest you buddy up with Noah, and don't be slow about it. ![]() The last time I looked at the weather channels 10 day forecast for that country it looked to be warmer and drier, so unless there's another monsoon moves in I would imagine the Big Hill, Quigley, and the Longrange World Championship, and Peabody Pass should all be a go. We'll look forward to seeing you and Spot at the Q. I have elected official business and family stuff that will keep me from the Big Hill this year. RE: Forsyth long range match - DeadEye - 06-02-2013 Thanks Don, I guess we'll point her that way tomorrow then. See you and Carol at the 'Q'. Paul |
