going to spend spring and summer with my first love - chaneylake - 02-14-2014
I am going to shoot competition skeet again after a 15 year layoff, the Tennessee State Skeet Shoot is being held in Memphis Tennessee this August, less than 50 miles from my back door to the range.
I have a partner who is going to make the journey with me, I taught this young man how to shoot skeet when he was a sophomore in Highschool and he is now finishing his Junior year in college.
we can push each other enough so that we will hopefully make our presence known

Man I hope you have better luck getting on those birds again better than I have.
I used to shoot a lot of trap, even broke 99 one time after missing the first
Last fall I took the 870 trap out of the safe where it has been since the 80's after getting run off the line for shooting black powder loads
and went to the club where they shoot every tuesday night and the first relay I broke 11. What the HEY!!! never got above 18 that night. Kurt

Kurt, shotgun shooting at moving targets was God's give to me, hitting is not much of an issue with a shotgun, the mental issue is a different game though, if I can get the mental side back then all other areas will fall into place
